Mount Sinai Hospital
Foundation of Toronto - Donate Now campaign
Do you, or a team member in your lab, have a particularly striking image of a cell or cellular structure?  Have a 'favourite' protein or protein complex that you want to profile?

Your microscopy image could be one of several chosen to be showcased as part of an upcoming fundraising event in support of the Lunenfeld. Selected microscopy images will be showcased at the hospital, and later framed and sold at an auction in February, with funds in support of our institute.

All entries received prior to December 18 will also be considered for inclusion in a special Toronto Star supplement on February 5, which will reach thousands of GTA residents via print distribution to over 200,000 homes, with subsequent reach via online media.

Criteria:
Images should respect copyright issues of journals and therefore not have appeared, or will appear, in a biomedical journal or other publication;
Low-resolution images are required for the initial selection process, however final images will be required at 1,200 dpi;
Images should be submitted in colour;
A brief, 3-4 sentence description (in lay-person terms) should accompany the image, and;
A minimum of one image is requested but additional will be accepted.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your research and your lab’s expertise, as well as support the Foundation in their fundraising initiatives for the Lunenfeld. And for a little extra incentive – gifts will be provided to each lab that submits an image!

Submit your exceptional microscopy images by December 18!
